PRESIDENT/CEO
Joan P. Garner is a lifetime activist and social justice advocate who also resides in the community. With a reputation for coalition building, her focus is on forging strong partnerships in the redevelopment of the Auburn Avenue commercial district, with special attention paid to creating affordable in town housing.

FINANCE
Gretchen Fuller, Director of Finance, is an expert in creating, implementing and maintaining financial systems. A graduate of North Carolina A&T University and a former employee of Coco Cola Corporation, Mrs. Fuller is a principal in Warner-Fuller Consulting, LLC. Her responsibilities at HDDC include all aspects of financial management within the organization.

DEVELOPMENT
Tony Pickett of MetroCenter Associates Consulting is leading our Project Development efforts. As a developer and project manager, he brings a high level of expertise to guide HDDC in its development program. Mr. Pickett will take the lead in identifying best use practices and project management of new and ongoing endeavors.
Channing Henderson of MetroCenter Associates Consulting has over 14 years of experience in single-family, multi-family, mixed-use and light retail development. Most recently, Channing worked with Progressive Redevelopment, Inc (PRI) which is one of the largest non-profit affordable housing developers in the State of Georgia. Mr. Henderson participation in putting together and coordinating real estate projects is an integral part of the HDDC development plan.
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Kimberly Sellars-Bates has an extensive background in supporting non-profit organizations through grant writing and resource development. She is the principal in KSTB Enterprises, LLC where she applies her skills in grant writing, research methodologies board building and fundraising strategies. Through her understanding of the workings of the philanthropy movement, Mrs. Bates will be able to better position HDDC to reach its financial and organizational goals.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Marie Cowser manages HDDC’s community engagement and resident services activities. Ms. Cowser is a dedicated community liaison activist who is committed to improving the quality of life for residents of the Martin Luther King, Jr. District.

OFFICE MANAGER
Susan Bailey supports the day to day work of HDDC. Ms. Bailey brings to HDDC a wealth of skills and experiences. Her administrative background and work with The Coco Cola Corporation provides the expertise necessary to manage the varied day to day activities of HDDC.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Ann Noble Keeling has many years of experience in the administrative field. She has extensive background in Human Resources and Management. Her focus at HDDC will be in managing compliance reporting as well as assisting in creating systems that will facilitate operations of the organization.
